Language Line Services, through its “Language Access Center for Excellence”, now offers subject matter expert speakers on
- Language access, standards, best practices,
- Ensuring compliance with the Joint Commission new and revised standards, Federal and State regulations/statutes, Title VI, CLAS standards, and more,
- Performance measurement and quality improvement,
- Developing and implementing a language access program
How to Schedule a Speaker
To request a speaker, complete the request form at the bottom of this page.Speakers are available to Language Line Services customers, government agencies, industry conferences, not-for-profit organizations and other stakeholders.
The "Language Access Center for Excellence" will make every effort to fill speaker requests with the most qualified individual within a reasonable time frame.
After a speaker has been confirmed, he or she will work directly with your designated representative to develop a presentation targeted to the particular audience.
Once confirmation is received in writing, you may list a speaker in your promotional material.
How Far in Advance to Request a Speaker?
For us to match the best speaker with the program, we recommend that you contact us as early as possible — we recommend at least six weeks prior to the scheduled event.Speaker Fees
For Language Line Services customers, there is no charge. For the good of the profession, there may also be no charge for other conferences, partners, not-for-profit associations and other stakeholders.In other situations their may be an honorarium based on the location, event and the required preparation time. All costs (if any) will be disclosed in writing following receipt of your Speaker Request.
If cancellations are made under two weeks of the event, cancellation fees may apply.
